General organization

When and where is the convention?
The convention will take place from May 02 (Friday) to May 04 (Sunday) 2014, at the Centre expo congres of Mandelieu la Napoule (7 min from Cannes) in the South of France).

How can we get to Mandelieu?

Several transportation modes are available: flight to Nice, TGV (train) to Cannes, car... Go to the the paragraph "How to get to Mandelieu" of the VENUE section (tab "GreenVampCon") of the website. You'll find lots of information.

Moreover, OFIAN works with Air France/KLM to offer you a large range of preferential airfares on flights worlwide (coming to Nice), and with the SNCF to offer you discounts on trains tickets (to Mandelieu-La Napoule), go read the paragraph mentioned previously and follow the instructions. You can book your flight/train ticket right now!

How many guests will attend?
At least 3

I’m minor, can I attend the convention?
If you’re under 16 you must present the parental consent “convention" (to be downloaded on the website) signed by your parents or legal guardian + the copy of the ID of the signatory. If you’re 16 or more, you don’t need to be accompanied or to present those documents. Failure to respect those rules will prevent you from accessing the event.

I’m 18 , I have an entry pass, I’d like to be responsible for a minor I don’t know ? Is it possible?
You can supervise and be responsible for a minor if this minor presents: a parental consent signed by his/her parents or legal guardian (because you are none) + a copy of the ID of the signatory (see previous question)

How about disabled people? Will we have special areas or help?
The Centre expo congres is equipped for wheelchairs. And we will arrange a special area at the front of the stage talks for attendees who have wheelchairs.

I’m in a wheelchair, does the person who accompanies me to have a pass?
Yes. If you attend the 3 days of convention, the person sho accompanies you will have a choice between "bloody" and "transition" passes regardless of your pass. If this person wants to accompany you at a meeting, at the dinner or party, she will have to purchase the corresponding ticket fot herself. Other activities (photoshoots/autographs) will also requiere a ticket.

Will there be a registration? Will I have to collect some documents before the beginning of the convention?
There will be a registration on location by Thursday, and every morning before the beginning of the convention. During this registration you will collect your badge (corresponding to the pass you bought), and your convention kit (autographs/photoshoots/other activities tickets…). Note that a valid ID and proof of purchase (email) will be required in order to pick up everything. If you are underage, you will also have to provide specific documents (see 4th question)
 

When will I collect my badge?
We will distribute badges and convention kits by Thursday already, then each morning before the beginning of the convention. Detailed schedules will be given soon

I won’t arrive in time for the beginning of the convention, or I’ll have to leave before the end
You can enter and leave the venue as much as you want as long as you can show your badge and the bracelet collected during registration. Your attendance is not required during activities; however be aware that if you’re absent when you’re called to attend your autograph/photoshoots sessions, you might not be able to get your photo or autograph.

Will there be fanvid, drawings contests or others?
Yes, you the fans, your different talents will be in demand. We will give you the details soon. Get ready!!

Will you get some special discount for some hotels?
Maybe. In the meantime, you’ll find a list of a few hotels in the « VENUE » section of the website

I have a 1-day pass but I’ll attend an activity performed a day different than my pass. Are there things you would advice me to do in the meantime?
Mandelieu’s geographic location makes it a hub with lots of things to do…Go to tab “GreenVampireConv” of the website and you’ll find a paragraph in the VENUE section, with things that we’re advising you to do or visit. You won’t have time to get bored!!

Pass

Which pass should I buy?
4 types of pass are available. They offer various things (1 or 3- day access to the event and its activities, autographs, photoshoots included…). In addition, we’re giving to all 1-day passes the opportunity to buy tickets for activities that are performed on days different than the one of their actual pass. Please read the description of each kind of pass before buying one.

Do all passes give access to the 3 days of the convention?
No. MOONSTONE passes give access to 1-day of convention to be chosen. However, they have the opportunity to buy tickets for activities occurring on a day different than the one of their pass
 

I’d like to sell, offer, transfer, give my pass to someone else, or change the name on it?
Passes are personal. You are not allowed to sell or transfer them onto someone else without the our permission

My favorite guest cancelled his appearance (or I can’t attend the convention after all), I’d like a refund
Pass/tickets are non-refundable, unless the event is cancelled by us.
Guests are bound by contract with the promoter. Their personal and/or professional commitments are above their duties with the promoter or the convention, therefore their appearance might be subject to changes or last minute cancellations. A guest cancellation is not a reason for refund.

Do all passes allow me to see the guests?
Yes, all passes allow you to see them

Will I be able to see the guests without a pass?
No. You need a pass to get in. Security measures will be will important during the convention and it is strictly forbidden to get into the convention without your pass. If this happens during the event, the intruder will be expelled.

Will I be able to buy a pass on location?
No. Passes are sold only via the ticket store online.

I’ve just bought my pass, what’s going to happen now?
You will receive a confirmation email of your purchase that you will have to print and show on location.

I’m coming with friends; will we be able to sit next to each other?
Your pass is associated to a seat number attributed for the entire convention, according to the date of purchase. If want to be seated next to each other, we advise you to buy your passes at the same time. However, we offer no guarantee that you will be side by side.

I just bought all my friends’ pass at the same time, what should I do now?
You need to email us at Cette adresse email est protégée contre les robots des spammeurs, vous devez activer Javascript pour la voir.  specifying the first, last names and e-mail addresses of all your friends in order for us to validate the passes. Each one of your friend will then receive an email with their pass number. Each badge will be handed to each person of the group on location (after showing ID with pictures and the email of purchase).

I bought my friend’s pass but she can’t collect her badge at the moment scheduled, how can I pick it up for her?
You’ll have to present her ID or a copy of it with all the proof of purchase (order confirmation)

Payment

What are the payment options for passes/tickets?

 Online Ticket store: National french Check (for french people) Bank transfer (national for French people, SEPA for europeans), Paypal (only for payments in 1 instalment). For a payment via bank transfer (french or SEPA): you'll have 3-4 days from the date of purchase to go to your bank to make the transfer.

Will I be able to sit wherever I want?
No. The convention will host a lot of participants, so for the sake of the organization and to prevent potential disputes over seats that often occur during this kind of event, you will get a seat number that you’ll keep during the entire convention

Will I be able to take pictures or tape the Q&A sessions?
You’ll be allowed to take pictures with flash only during the first 5 minutes of each Q&A session (flash allowed during those first 5 minutes) as not to disturb the guests during their talk. Camera lens size should not exceed 18-55mm. Audio/video recording is strictly prohibited.

I have a 1-day pass, I’ll be in zone 4, with zero visibility, I won’t be able to see the Q&A correctly.
Whatever the pass, you’ll have a good visibility. The configuration of the auditorium, the screen...  will allow you to appreciate each moment to its fullest.

Will I be able to ask my own questions directly to the guests during the Q&A?
Yes, as long as they are appropriate. We will give you more details regarding the process soon.

Photoshoots/Autographs

 
I don’t have pass, will I be able to buy an autograph/photoshoot ticket?
No, you can buy those tickets only if you already have an entry pass

I’ve just bought an autograph/photoshoot ticket, what will happen now?
You will receive a confirmation email of your purchase that you will have to print and show on location

Would I be able to take pictures of the guests with my own camera during autograph/photoshoot sessions?
Pictures, as well as video/audio recording are strictly prohibited during photoshoot/autograph sessions

Can I be on the same picture with a friend?
Yes, but each one of you will have to purchase her own photoshoot ticket

What kind of medium can be signed by the guest?
Authorized Mediums to be signed on are: mediums sold by the promoter, official products (DVD, CD, magazines, books related to the TV show). Internet pictures or art are not allowed. BLOODY passes have a medium (picture) offered per guest except for the special guest

Will I be able to give gifts to the guests?
Participants are allowed to offer gifts to the guests only during autograph sessions (up to 1 gift per guest), after they’ve been approved by the promoter.
We reserve the right to reject the presentation of a gift that would be offensive to guests or bulky

Meeting

Will I be able to take pictures or tape the meetings?
Pictures, as well as video/audio recording are strictly prohibited during meetings

Dinner/Party

I’m a minor, will I be able to attend the dinner or party?
Yes, but some rules have to be followed.
Dinner: because of underage drinking laws, minors under 15 will have to be accompanied by an adult since alcohol will be proposed. They will have to present a parental consent “dinner” (to be downloaded on the website) signed by their parents or legal guardian (if the aforementioned adult is not the parent/guardian, + the copy of the ID of the signatory). The 15-18 yrs will just have to present the parental consent + the copy of the ID of the signatory
Cocktail party: Minors under 15 will have to be accompanied by an adult. Furthermore, they will have to present a parental consent “party” (to be downloaded on the website) signed by their parents or legal guardian (if the aforementioned adult is not the parent/guardian) + the copy of the ID of the signatory. 15-18 yrs old will just have to present the parental consent + copy of the ID of the signatory

I’m under 15 so I don’t need to be accompanied during the convention (day) however I will have to be for the dinner ; the adult who accompanies me will need to buy a pass to get a dinner ticket ?
No, we will authorize the sale of dinner tickets to accompanying adults without entry passes. The process to buy the tickets will be explained later

Which pass gives me access to the dinner or party?
All passes, even 1-day (moonstone) give you the opportunity to buy a ticket for the dinner or the cocktail party

What will be the theme of the dinner? What should we expect?
The theme will be the « 30s-cabaret» we invite  you to dress up. You don’t have to follow the theme but a proper attire will be required no matter what since this will be a dinner chic
